Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ruah Hope Center Worship platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Ruah Hope Center, operated by Restoration Ministries. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Ruah Hope Center Worship is a multi-tenant church worship management and live presentation platform that provides:
- Multi-church congregation workspaces with strict organizational isolation and member directory management
- Bilingual Tamil & English song database with dynamic transposition
- keyboard style references and church service setlist planning
- Holy Bible scripture projection (KJV, ASV, Tamil KJV)
- Multi-screen Presenter Console with Sanctuary Projector Display (
/presenter/display) - Permanent Church OBS Stream Token integration for live-streaming lower-thirds
- Real-time Stage Sync broadcast to stage prompters and musician devices
- Custom slides for faith confessions, announcements, liturgy, and custom farewell screens
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.
- If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before using the platform.
- You must use the platform solely for lawful church worship, fellowship, and ministry purposes.
4. Account Registration & Security
You may register using an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your account credentials with other individuals. Live presentation participation is handled via dedicated roles, church memberships, or ephemeral Stage Sync PINs.
If you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account or your church's workspace, please notify us immediately at ruahhopecenterbodi@gmail.com.
5. User Roles & Organizational Hierarchy
The platform operates on a 5-tier role-based governance model:
1. Guest
Unauthenticated visitors or newly registered users awaiting church membership approval. Access is limited to public song previews and general platform information.
2. Standard Member
Approved members of a local church congregation. Full read access to church setlists, lyrics, Bible versions, and Stage Sync prompter displays.
3. Worship Leader Admin
Worship leaders and AV technicians. Permissions to build and sequence church service setlists, author songs and custom liturgy/farewell slides, operate the Presenter Console, and initiate live broadcasts.
4. Church Manager
Lead pastors and technical directors. Complete administrative governance over the local church workspace: approving or rejecting member join requests, assigning member roles, customizing church branding, and generating or resetting the church's Permanent OBS Stream Token.
5. Super Admin
Global platform administrators with root oversight: provisioning new church tenants, managing global song/Bible corpora, and monitoring system health and security logs across all congregations.
Role assignments within a congregation are managed by that church's Church Managers or by platform Super Admins.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will NOT:
- Use the platform for any purpose other than lawful church worship and ministry operations.
- Publicly publish, leak, or share your church's Permanent OBS Stream Token on public forums, open chatrooms, or code repositories.
- Attempt to access, view, or manipulate another church congregation's private setlists, member rosters, or live broadcast sessions.
- Upload or add content that infringes the copyright of others (e.g., song lyrics for which your church has no licence or permission).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, probe, or exploit the platform's APIs or cloud infrastructure.
- Use automated bots, scripts, or scrapers to harvest data or flood broadcasts.
- Impersonate another user, church leader, or church entity.
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian laws or regulations.
7. Intellectual Property & Church Content Ownership
The Ruah Hope Center Worship platform software, design system, source code, and documentation are owned by Restoration Ministries / Ruah Hope Center and are protected under Indian intellectual property laws.
Bible texts in KJV and ASV formats are in the public domain. Tamil Bible translations may be subject to separate copyright held by their respective publishers.
Song lyrics, chords, and musical arrangements added to the database are the intellectual property of their respective copyright holders. Your church is solely responsible for obtaining any necessary performance or reproduction licences (e.g. CCLI or publisher permission) for materials used during worship services.
Custom slides, service setlists, announcements, and liturgy created within a church tenant remain the intellectual property of that church organization. By utilizing the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, render, and synchronize that content strictly for the purpose of operating the service for your authorized team.
8. Presenter Displays, OBS Stream Tokens & Stage Sync
- Sanctuary Projector Displays: The Sanctuary Display (
/presenter/display) renders real-time slide content for congregation screens. Users are responsible for operating dual-monitor or projection hardware appropriately. - Permanent OBS Stream Tokens: Your church's Permanent Stream Token acts as a private authentication key. The church organization is responsible for safeguarding this key. If a token is inadvertently compromised, an authorized Church Manager must immediately revoke and regenerate it via Church Settings.
- Stage Sync Ephemeral PINs: Stage Sync broadcast sessions and 6-digit team PINs are ephemeral and expire automatically when the service ends.
- Integration & As-Is Provision: OBS, vMix, and browser source integrations are provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of compatibility with every hardware or third-party software configuration.
9. Termination & Voluntary Account Deactivation
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice.
You may also voluntarily deactivate your account at any time directly from your User Profile settings page (/profile). Deactivating your account revokes your active sign-in sessions, unlinks and frees your email address, and removes password hashes. Church worship services, song lyrics, and arrangements created under shared church ministry remain preserved to ensure continuous church operations.
Super Administrator Succession: If you are the sole active Super Administrator for the platform, you must assign another active user to the Super Administrator role before deactivating your account to ensure uninterrupted administrative continuity.
You may also contact us at ruahhopecenterbodi@gmail.com for assistance with account deactivation. Upon termination, data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Ruah Hope Center - Worship platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation of the service.
Bible verse accuracy depends on the accuracy of the source data. We strongly recommend independently verifying critical scripture references before use in worship services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Restoration Ministries and Ruah Hope Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid us during the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000 if you used a free tier of the service, whichever is greater.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute remains unresolved for 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
