Our platform operates on a "Musician-First Open Access" model with a granular multi-role permissions system. Users possess a primary church role and optional global capability badges (such as Song Editor). Church Managers manage team roles within their church, while Super Admins oversee universal platform operations and global roles.

When musicians and leaders register, they are prompted with the Church Selection onboarding flow.
Upon account registration, confirm your full name and choose your home church congregation from the verified list or search by name.
The designated Church Manager receives your membership request in their Church Administration panel to verify identity.
Once approved, your account and session token are synchronized in real-time without requiring a sign-out. Your browser instantly gains access to your church's setlists, custom slides, and leadership controls.
Every authenticated user can access their account settings at /profile by clicking their avatar or name in the desktop navigation bar or mobile menu.
Update your display name, view your current church congregation status, and preview or customize saved projector display typography (font family, alignment, and slide transitions) across all devices.
Credentials-based users can update their account password with current password verification. When a password is changed, all active sessions across all devices are immediately invalidated via server-side token versioning.
Signing in with "Remember me for 90 days" (or via Google SSO) maintains an active session for 90 days. Each time you access the app, the session automatically slides forward, eliminating daily login prompts. Unchecking the option limits the session strictly to 24 hours.
Users can deactivate their account with password verification or typing "DELETE". Deactivation unlinks the email address for future use, clears credentials, and terminates active broadcasts while preserving church worship services and songs for ministry continuity. If a user is the sole active Super Admin, the system blocks deactivation until another Super Admin is designated.
